Character with Pro Desktop Object

March 10th, 2010

This evening I imported my Pro Desktop object into a blender file and posed my character as if holding the torch. Ithen added my own QVC overlay made with Serif PagePlus X3. A sort of sample of my final environment! ;D

Environment

February 15th, 2010

I have decided to change my environment ideas and instead of using a superhero model ontop of a skyscraper I have decided to re-create a shopping channel type scene with a couple of characters playing Wii and one selling my torch. I will then take it into gimp and add an overlay to the final render.

Here’s what I have so far :)

I went out today to get some photographs for my mini portfolio and enhanced them using GIMP. Heres the results :)

Photo Splash

January 26th, 2010

I was looking through some photos on the internet and found that an app on the iphone called ‘photosplash’ allow the user to take a black and white photograph and select a small area that they wanted coloured. I decided to google a GIMP alternative and found a small tutorial that I found very useful… Here’s the results :)

Image Munipulation

January 26th, 2010

img_1226img_1226img_1226edit

I tried my hand at a wee bit of image manipulation last night. Above is the result that I achieved in GIMP using desaturation, levels and curves in the ‘colour’ tab. :)

I then decided to link it to the song that I was listening to at the time :) Arctic Monkeys - ‘Perhaps vampire is a bit strong but…’ I used photoshop for the next part using cloud renderings and FX to achieve the image shown below.
